Multi-tasking Ability Test (MTAT)

The MTAT is based on a laboratory task that was previously shown to predict performance in high-fidelity simulations of emergency dispatching and air traffic control jobs. The current research consists of two stages-test development and validation. In the test development stage, five experiments are being conducted to address issues related to current standards and requirements for psychological and educational tests. The results will be used to make decisions about various aspects of test design. The validation stage consists of two sets of studies conducted to investigate the construct and criterion validity of the MTAT.
